Our headquarters is in a rural community named Coxheath which is near the
town of Sweet Water, Alabama.  We provide our coverage area with the best
fire protection, medical first response, and basic rescue that we can give.
We are totally volunteer with almost 55 members at this time.  We are always
looking for more members or support personnel.  See our
"News and Events"
page for details on our department meetings.

We welcome people of our community to join our department if they share an
interest in volunteering their time to help our community.  We have a wide
variety of needs when it comes to manpower.  Some of our members do not
respond to emergency calls at all.  They assist with fund raisers or maybe
support and administrative duties.  Some of our members prefer to respond
to fires only, some are more interested in medical calls and others help in all
aspects.  Please feel free to stop by and see where your talents can be used
to benefit the community.
